Looking for a team-building idea that brings people together and leaves a sweet memory? Here's how a chocolate workshop works, who it suits and how to organise one in Sofia.
Why chocolate works for team building
The best team-building activities share one thing: they get people creating together, without pressure. Chocolate does exactly that. It's accessible — everyone loves chocolate — and at the same time a genuine craft that leaves room for creativity and a light dose of friendly competition.
Unlike many corporate activities, the result here is tangible and delicious. Everyone leaves with their own creation and a shared experience that's remembered long after the working day.
How a chocolate workshop unfolds
We begin with a short introduction to the world of artisan chocolate — where it comes from, how it's tempered and what makes a bonbon genuinely good. Then the teams split up and work through the making itself: tempering, fillings, shaping and decoration.
The finale is the shared tasting — the moment when everyone tries the others' creations. Through play and friendly competition, colleagues get to know each other in a new way, far from the desk and the inbox.
Who it's for
Chocolate team building works for teams of any size and profile — from small departments to larger companies. No prior skills are needed; everything is led by our pastry chefs, step by step.
It also suits less conventional occasions: welcoming new colleagues, marking an achievement, or simply breaking the work routine. And if you'd prefer a calmer format, our workshop for adults offers the same experience in a more intimate setting.
How to organise the event
Organising is easy. Get in touch with an approximate number of participants and a preferred date, and we'll suggest a format and take care of everything else — materials, a host and the space.
For smaller, private events we also have a cosy second-floor lounge on Nikolay Haytov for up to 12 people — ideal for private celebrations, birthdays and intimate corporate activities.
Ready to bring your team together?
Workshop places are limited, so we recommend booking in advance. Tell us about your team and the occasion, and we'll craft a tailor-made experience.
